Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins - Hostel

2.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (8)
"The property is exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The property there is quite amazing with its ruins and the river and clear creek running right through it. Maddie especially made our time there special. She was so helpful in planning our days and sharing such interesting information about the area in addition to providing meals of breakfast and dinner that were wonderful for a very reasonable fee."

"Wonderful location. Well named. Only a 5 min detour from the highway but secluded and safe. Surrounded by rainforest trees and an abundance of birds. I stayed there for 2 short visits and stayed in 2 different bungalows, one of which has a deck on the back that makes for great birdwatching. Very comfortable. Surprisingly low price. The owners/hosts/chefs were attentive and friendly. "

"The property management team was very helpful. The home was an excellent condition and clean. I like that the neighborhood is quiet. Tour companies will pick you up from this location, which is also very nice. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we plan on staying at La Rana in the future. "

Beautiful Home with Mountain Views and Pool

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (75)
"There is a lot of care put into the upkeep of this house, it’s incredibly clean, it’s beautifully appointed and quite welcoming. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and the house. I was in contact with Terry throughout the stay, any questions were answered immediately. They also offer tours, we did not take advantage of this simply because we had plans set already. It would have been a wonderful convenience otherwise. The rooms are big, the bathrooms spacious, hot water was plentiful. The...
