"Overall the inn was nice but we are older and the 3 flights of steep stairs was brutal. They need to put a warning on that room. The place was clean and the man at the desk was nice . But boy the stairs alone would keep me from staying there again."

"We had such a lovely time here. The place has an amazing view of the Bay right out of the living room. We loved the decor, art, and furniture of this place, the owner has great and interesting taste.If you are here for oysters, this location has great proximity to a few Hog Island locations, just minutes away. But be sure to make reservations in advance, they book up!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Flat at the Cork Oak. The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook if we wanted and close to many great restaurants when we didn’t feel like cooking. There are many beautiful things to do and see within an hour drive."

"The place is very cute and comfortable. Perfect for two or three people. Easy access to the beach. We did have to clean up pet mess in theback yard from the prevoous guests. The place could use some updates furniture and indoor painting."

"We needed a place with a good kitchen to cook for Thanksgiving, and Robert's place was perfect. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped, the views were spectacular, and the couch and TV made for great football watching. Robert was a charming host and very communicative. And obviously, a great location. "

"Lovely spot to relax in right on the beach, views of varied beach acivies: walking, surfing, kites, jogging — and for surfers, you are right there! Park Side Cafe has really upgraded, superb bakery, excellent chef. Breakers Cafe also very good. Bookstore and library close at hand, and Mt. Tam is just across thge street with world class coastal view trails and redwoods. Stinson Beacch Market is well-stocked — including fresh vegetables — and has friendly staff members. "
