"Overall our vacation was a 5, but this house is more like a 3. The property has great potential, but has not been maintained. The pool was fantastic, but was surrounded by weeds and included a pile of broken and rusted pool toys. The pool loungers(3) were all broken and unusable. It was nice to have direct access to the beach, a short walk over the dunes for a day in the sand. However, the fence door was not secure and with a dog and small child, this was a concern. "Our vacation at Sol e Mare was fantastic. The property was very clean, spacious, bright, and easy to settle into for a week. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the private hot tub/pool area, the views from the decks, and the short walk to the beach. We appreciated the owners' responsiveness and ease of communication. We highly recommend Sol e Mare!"

"Right on the sound side, with two piers, one for fishing and one to use to launch a kayak or two. We stayed a wonderful week between two hurricanes (Gorden and Helene). The house fit us well as we had three mobility impaired folks. With the wooden ramp to the first floor plus two roll-in showers on the first floor along with two bedrooms it was ideal. Only two minor issues, one of the 5 toilets was out of order and required a part and many of the dishes, pots and pans were not well cleaned...

"We loved our stay at this property! It was exactly as advertised on this listing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed each morning and evening on the top deck listening to the ocean, watching the sunrise, and looking at the stars.
