They gave us a tour of their farm property and let us feed and play with their farm animals. We got to hear all about them and that was such a treat! He was extremely accommodating and very responsive through the app. The house was perfect and had everything we needed, including croquet for the kids and plenty of firewood for the fire pit. "My husband and I took the weekend to get away and this was the perfect place. It is a trek up the mountain and worth it. Very clean and the hosts were friendly and approachable. Definitely recommend. Just be aware that the drive up is gravel road and at times steep. Best have AWD or 4 WD. "

"The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well...

"Really cute property- very clean! We were participating at an event at a nearby winery, so we wanted a place to have our crockpot dinner and spend the night. The bonus was the tasting room for Merry Mill steps away! Love the staff, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Once the tasting room closed, and we went back to the cottage, we enjoyed time on the back deck watching the sunset!"

"The property was quite cozy, off the main road, and extremely peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking at stars was a great way to end the night. Located about 40 minutes from Lurray and a short drive to Massanutten leaves plenty of options for the whole family. The property seemed well maintained by the host and we felt welcome upon arrival.
