Communication with the property was so easy and fast, I asked about a couple details including the type of coffee maker (keurig duo) and they responded within minutes. We did have issues hooking up to the TV but it wasn't a top priority so didn't impact our stay. Cabins 9 and 10 are the first two you see when you drive in, so I can see how other cabins might be more ideal but we didn't have any issues with privacy even with tenants in the neighboring...

"We were attending a wedding nearby and wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay. Farmview cottage was perfect! The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed for a short stay. We wished we could've explored the Zen Barn but it was occupied by a group. Some of the cats on the property gave us a tour of the other neat spots like the boat with the sitting area on top and the sauna. All in all, a great experience!"

Hiking and the national park were a reasonable drive. The town of Elkton was great with small shops and restaurants as well as anything needed like groceries. James was an excellent host. "We had a great time getting away and having a secluded, private and peaceful place to stay. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. Accessing the property was easy peasy and the property manager was super quick to respond to any questions. Very relaxing, exactly what we needed! "Perfect cabin for relaxing, unplugging and hiking the nearby trails! The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved that we could cook full meals in the kitchen and there were plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The wood indoor stove is top notch, we loved having cozy fires at night. There were some games, books and DVDs at the cabin which were great to have on hand to relax.The view of the surrounding area and stars at night are stunning. We enjoyed exploring the nearby...

"My husband and I went to Charlottesville to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this charming little cabin and booked it. Our hosts were very nice, and Ken worked so hard to shovel snow out of the drive before we arrived. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. It was a bit farther out than I realized when I made the reservation, but the bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms, and that, along with the fireplace, sealed the deal! "

"We wanted to check out the area for a possible move coming up. Although, it was a bit more in the woods and up into the mountain than I had realized (people were not kidding when they said to make sure you have 4 wheel drive) it was a really great stay for us. My husband and two sons had to meet us there the second day so I guess that is why the cabin straight in the woods was a bigger deal to me and my daughter going it alone.
