"We loved the great communication and the cabin worked great for our unexpected fast trip to Leakey. So sorry if there was some driving on the grass, some of our family met there to visit and drive to the cemetery together and maybe didn't see the signs, but it was truly an unintentional mistake and we sincerely apologize!!!"

"Need larger tv in cozy cabin . Need better entry signs ,drove by it both ways ,very easy to miss and this is my third time here .Maybe paint cactus at entry a bright green or orange"

"Stayed over valentines weekend and close location to Garner state park was a bonus. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. The cabin is rustic, but clean and comfy. "

"We enjoyed the property. Stayed 2 nights. The only thing was bathroom is tiny. My husband hit his elbow on the soapbox twice.He wasn’t too happy about that. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Hill. The cabin provided a nice option to get away, instead of being stuck in a hotel. It is right off the highway, but has lots of trees around it, providing a country feel. We will definitely be coming back !"

"Have already recommended to others! Will definitely be back. We couldn’t have found a better place for this noise-sensitive human and a country-happy dog planning to visit nearby state parks. The only sounds: birds, breezes, a bunny …perfect contentment. Clean and cute cabin, Bed comfortable, communicative and accommodating hosts, thoughtful touches, kitchen stocked, bathroom heater for chilly nights, porches divine. "
