"We arrived at this hotel and we could not believe our eyes! The building is an old convent/monastery and the rooms have all been modernised with very colourful furniture and decorated in a very unique way! The room and bathroom were quite large and they were very clean and well maintained. There is a nearby terrace on the first floor next to the rooms where you can see Florence in the distance and also the gardens, patio and olive garden that surround the hotel. "Very old but beautiful place, a little scary because it is so old, clean, because the furniture is so old and dry it is not cofy . Friendly staff. Good breakfast but nothing exceptional. Worth the price. The only thing is if you have a lot of luggage or a very heavy suitcase do not choose the cella/room #1 suite because it has two large flights of stairs and the hotel obviously does not have an elevator. I recommend it to have an experience and not to stay for several days"

"This property was overall pretty good, the room was large the bed was massive but there were a few minor details that let it down. The toilet flush wasn't the best, the windows in the bathroom and bedroom were hard to open/close. and the bathroom door was hard to close. I feel like if theses small issues were resolved and there was a smart tv they could probably charge another 30-50 on top of what i paid. And I would have been happy to pay that."

"This is a nice little cozy bread and breakfast place with great location. Service is excellent and the interior is very beautiful. The only draw back it has no elevator but it's only one floor up. There's no concierge 24/7 but they are pretty responsive beyond office hours. Staff are pretty generous with their time and very helpful."

"We spent four delightful nights at Corte Calzaiuoli and would highly recommend it. The room was beautifully appointed with plenty of space and a dramatic en-suite. Although looking over the busy Via Calzaiuoli the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was delicious with juices and eggs to order and a wide range of sweet and savoury items. Location was superb with all the major sites on the doorstep and easy access to the airport team. We felt looked after for every hour of our stay. "
