"River View Home is a great base for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. It's got a well-stocked kitchen and a wonderful spacious bedroom on the main floor. It's by far the most private of the three houses on the property, and Marisa was a pleasure to work with. Just don't wait until you get to Miranda to buy your groceries. And don't be put off by the small number of reviews here -- there are hundreds of glowing reviews elsewhere on the interwebs."

The back porch is extremely old. Under the porch there is a bunch of old junk. The house itself was OK, but if you are looking for a trendy cool restored spot this is NOT the place. It’s an old building that has been brought up to the bare minimum. The upstairs was least 10 degrees hotter than downstairs. No central...

"This home is a gem in Southern Humboldt. Just steps from the historic Benbow golf course. My kids loved the pool, it’s big and deep. Easy access right off Hwy 101, near the town of Garberville with good grocery stores. Close to Redwood groves and swimming holes on the Eel River. Comfortable beds and amazing views."

"Lovely property in Miranda/Myers Flats. Recently remodeled, top notch & cozy. Gas station & restaurant 1/2 mile down the road. So serene & beautiful! Would stay again! (there was a difficulty entering the property as the instructions were incorrect on the deadbolt, so it did take about an hour to get into the property. Somebody came by to help me out.)"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain hill home. So clean and comfortable. It was equipped with the necessary high speed wi-fy as well as 2 smart tvs. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly resolved by the owner and property manager as communication with them was excellent. The mountain and valley views from the front porch was magnificent. This was our second stay at this home and will definitely request it again in the future trips!"

"We selected this property so that at the end of each day of hiking we could come back to refresh and then just walk the couple of blocks to Main St to eat dinner.
