"This hotel was cheaper than most we have stayed at in new zealand but the welcome was friendly and efficient, the room had everything you needed, the bed was comfortable and our room had a large balcony. Although on the road, we were not disturbed by any noise overnight. Overall a great value stay."

"The property is sited on a farm. It is well away from an unsealed road (no traffic noise) and from the farm house. I think I may have heard a chain saw for a short while. In case you are worried there are no farmyard 'smells'. Check in and instructions on how to find the property were great. The manager replied promptly to my questions. I saw no one else, but I could have walked to the farmhouse if there was a major problem. The property is a converted shipping container, that is light, airy and was easy to warm up. The kitchen and shower were good. The view was lovely. I have no criticism what so ever. Like most of the Canterbury beaches south of Christchurch are NOT for swimming. In hindsight I should have taken my surfcaster rod. "

"walking distance to main street shops. We felt safe, Warm house with abundance of heat pumps. Hot shower with great water pressure, two toilets well planned. Four older ladies. Enjoyed an authenic Indian meal in a main street restaurant. "
