"This is the second time I've stayed at this little family run hotel. It was lovely that they remembered me. I arrived before check in, but there was no problem leaving my case and rucksack there while I explored the castle area of Cardiff. When I returned, several hours later, my luggage had already been taken up to my room. What this hotel lacks in mod cons, it more than mskes up for in convenience, caring, friendliness abd value for money. There is no lift, which can be a big problem for the disabled, I myself suffer from arthritis. I've had both hips replaced and I'm waiting for an ooeration on my knee and I manage ok. Last time I was on the second floor, this time the first, which I very much appreciated. It really wouldn't be possible to install a lift in this old building. But, if youre looking for a hotel within walking distance of all the main attractions of Cardiff and you're looking for a bargain, then this is the hotel for you. I will certainly be back."

"Lovely people on reception during the day. Helpful to let her leave our bags on the first day before check in, recommended places to visit in Bath only was the Trout bookshop and then even though we can checked out on our last day they let us leave our bags again. "

"very hood. comfortable bed. Very good selection of breakfast for meat eaters and vegetarian, but minimal for vegan. Vegan sausages was provided on request at breakfast. no vegan cheese at the deli counter. no vegan pastries. a bit disappointed. my little one absolutely love the smoothies. "
