"This was our second year in a row staying here during our nilgai hunt. The couple that runs the place are friendly and accommodating. Parking is easy and seems safe. Our room fit three of us and our pretty comfortably. The sofa sleeper is very uncomfortable as you might expect of a sofa sleeper so make sure you bring a bed mat. Walmart and HEB are across the street and plenty of food options around. You can also walk just a few blocks to the water, which is nice. We’ll keep staying here. "

"A week in a fun place! Close to water and and activities. Casa Rosa was such a clean, comfortable motel close to the Island without the hustle bustle and expense. The management was very friendly and welcoming! Could not ask for better accommodation at the price."

"Family owned, mostly snowbird community & friendly! It’s dated, but it’s exactly as advertised. We stayed over two weeks, and we also own a small business, so I want to be as fair and respectful as possible…it’s so freaking noisy! You can hear the neighbors shut their cabinets, dogs barking all night, moving furniture with music blaring for multiple days, the office door sounds like a dying grackle, and here’s the issue, there’s nothing in the room to absorb the sounds. The connecting rooms...
