"The view from the property is spectacular. You can see Santiago in its entirety. the hotel itself is updated and nicely appointed. They have balconies outside of the units, but they don't have a swimming pool. The restaurant and bar is very nice. The food is a bit pricey, and the portions are on the small size. I can recommend the Cheeseburger with French fries for a filling lunch. There is nowhere nearby to shop or dine as far as I know. It's a great short stay location in the DR."

"The Piergiorgio is a beautiful hotel in an incredible location! The hotel is older but there were workmen there cleaning and painting the whole time we were there. Yes, the mattresses are firm but I found them to be very comfortable. The sheets and bedding are not new, but they were clean. The grounds are meticulously kept, and the pool is very clean. Many of the staff have limited English but they were always friendly and helpful. There are plenty of breakfast choices and most are served with...
