"We enjoyed our stay and would stay again! My husband was looking forward to pancakes this morning but they didnt have any this time and the only other thing was no ice machine on 1st floor have to go to 2nd or 3rd "

"Had not been to area before this 4-night stay for attending a boat show. Our particular accomodation was a suite with elec. fireplace in space having King bed. Had 2 T.V.s, a full-size, cold refrigerator, 4-cup drip coffee maker. But, bring your own coffee or take am hike to lobby for their excellent complimentary coffee. The room was clean and well-kept. Enough towels, etc for entire stay. Indoor tennis/pickleball, pool, and walking track. Very nice!"

"Waterpark was a nice option but only open for 3 hours. Rooms were not the cleanest and our microwave didn't work. "

"I grew up in MN and had never been to Grand View Lodge. Decided to take my husband "up north" to experience the vibe, and GVL was the best way to introduce him to that! We had a wonderful stay at the newer hotel-type property. Room was well decorated, bed very comfortable, great coffee bar and lobby to enjoy so we did not have to leave the building in the morning for our daily coffee. The amenities are plentiful and daily activity schedule offers a variety of things to do. The staff is professional but not overly talkative, proficient at their jobs. The lakefront location is gorgeous, and the historic buildings are in great condition despite their age. Wish we could've stayed longer, and we will the next time we can visit! Can't wait to return!"
