"Everything was as described. Very clean home. Great location. Kelly was very quick at responding with questions. Would go back again. "

"Overall, it is a great place, but there are no heat vents upstairs which means it is quite cold unless you leave the upstairs doors open so that heat can come up the stairwell. I ended up getting a small space heater to warm up the bedroom I used. I am sure it would be fine in warmer months and I noted that there is a window AC unit in the bedroom closet so summer heat wouldn't be an issue. I would stay here again as it was otherwise perfect me."

"We loved our stay!! Beautiful home with stunning lake views that was an easy drive from the Cities. Well stocked kitchens (plural!) and plenty of room for a large group - we loved the pool table, ping pong, and sauna!! I highly recommend! Bring a coffee maker if you care about coffee"

"We were visiting our son who is a student at UMD. This place provided plenty of space for our family of 4 for sleeping and doing homework. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep you warm on a cold winter night. It was a good location for going up the shore and into Duluth throughout the weekend. The view from the living room was wonderful. "

"Very nice cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Superior. Owners are very good at answering any questions and have very detailed guides of the area. We went snowmobiling from here and they have good trailer parking. Probably the most well stocked VRBO I've ever been to and extremely well organized. Would definitely go back!"

"Our family of 5 spent 4 nights at Stoney Shores. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen, dining and living room, where we spent all of our time together either making food, watching movies, cuddling by the fire or working on hobbies on the large butcher block counter. We ventured down to the water and outside at night to watch for shooting stars. All communications were quickly replied to and always helpful. The location was nice to be near many state parks as well. We hope to be back some day!"

"We needed a place big enough for 9 kids and 2 adults and this fit the bill perfectly. Owners were good at communicating throughout the whole process. Some of the doors rub on the frames and don't close properly and could use adjustment, but overall the house was very nice. Plenty of bedding and having 2 showers was very nice."

"My friends and I booked a girls Reading retreat weekend and it was such a great find! The hot tub was huge and beautiful, scenery and views were great and the house was clean and well kept. We will be going back again!"

"Cozy, enjoyed the fireplace, couldn't find any fire starter . The tap water was very good, fresh and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked and tidy. All the rooms were nicely decorated and "cabiny", nice selection of reading material and the lap blankets encouraged curling up with a good book. "

"We had a great winter weekend at the cabin! The cabin was warmed up for us when we got there on a cold night, and was cozy and beautiful throughout our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware we needed, and the fireplace was easy to use and perfect to relax by while listening to the lake. Very convenient location to lots of great cross country skiing. "
