"We were all very impressed. The only thing that may concern renters is that the owner lives on site on the third floor. She was a wonderfully kind and generous woman, but that might be a put off for some people renting."

"Our family of four greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The surrounding area is very rural, so it is an incredibly peaceful place to stay. About a 30 minute drive from Winona, La Crosse, and other cities with plenty of things to do. The house had everything we needed. I only wish the weather had been a bit better so we could have fully enjoy the outdoor spaces. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for a family looking to enjoy this beautiful area of southeastern...

"We enjoyed our time over Thanksgiving. The house is nicely set up with lots of sleeping areas as well as adequate living/dining area. We enjoyed most of the country feel. Communications with the host were promptly answered. They even bought a crock pot for our use."

"This place was perfect for our large family - large family and dining space, many rooms and beds, lots of space to roam and explore outside. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding towns and also spent cozy nights indoors with games and movies. Thank you for offering such a wonderfully kept home!"

"Wonderful farmhouse that was large enough to accommodate us all. Communication and check-in was without problem and check-out instructions were clear and reasonable. The entrance gets a little dark as there was not a light we could find, but our flashlights made do."

"Oak Meadow Farmhouse was a nice place to stay. We wanted someplace large enough to sleep 11 women and yet within driving distance of hiking and bicycling trails. We had both. The house was musty smelling when we arrived but opening windows took care of that. We enjoyed playing games around the large table, walking around the grounds, and sitting outside enjoying the breeze. "Property is as listed. It is a fully operational farm so keep that in mind. We went up for a race weekend @ Deer creek speedway. Does offer amenities including washer, dryer, toaster, stove/oven, and refrigerator. Pull out sofa along with some cots. Shower and toilet, it is also equipped with ac/heat. Does have a barn available ( more or less camping ). Would visit again. "

"We enjoyed our get away from the craziness of daily living. The farm house was immaculately kept, the layout was very useful, we loved watching the stars from the two decks and got to bring our dog!!! It was quiet and private so we could visit with no distractions. We went into town and shopped at the lost and found and bought many treasures!Thank you for the opportunity of getting away together. "Our adult children were in Minnesota for the holidays, and we came to this lovely VRBO for some quiet time away from normal hubbub, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, time to cook and play board games together, a puzzle room in Alexandria, and a hike at Lake Carlos State Park. Everything was very clean and in good working order."

"6 adults utilized the rental and we were very satisfied. House had what we needed for cooking cleaning and sleeping. TV had a subscription package and the living room had seating for everyone. Very good set up for our needs. "
