"We booked the St Croix Suite to celebrate a milestone birthday with mom/adult daughter. The room was lovely with a seating area and fireplace, so we settled in before walking to a nearby restaurant for dinner. It was dark, but we felt safe. A good hill climb, and more time relaxing. We didn't use the hot tub, but it is big enough for two. The bed was a King, and very comfortable. You do not feel movement of the other person, and we slept great. I would definitely book here again!! Also...

"This was the perfect location for our stay in upper Minnesota. The little motel is clean and modern with a log cabin feel. This is our second stay here and we tried a different room, which was also lovely. We would definitely stay again@"

"My wife and I were in town to see family and friends. We’re both from the Cities and were looking forward to a Southwest Minneapolis week. The place was terrific! Kent and Liz were welcoming and attentive to all the details a guest could ask for. (Even had different size umbrellas!). Location and block also terrific. Lake of the Aisles a hop skip away. A 5 + rating from us!"

"Fourth year in a row staying here in November. Everything was great as always! Cabin is fully furnished and stocked with everything you need. Looking forward to year five! "

"We were impressed with the house and property. Well kept, clean and a great spot to stay. It is close to Brainerd and all it has to offer. Or perfect to stay and chill by the lake. Very pleased with our stay."

"The property was lovely and relaxing. It was located in a gorgeous neighborhood. Only two suggestions, (1) let people know to bring slippers before they head to the mansion, (2) inform people staying in the upstairs rooms of the carriage house that the stairs are steep and difficult to climb"

"Lovely room in a set of 4 maybe more like a motel large parking lot no landscaping out front. That being said, the room itself was great. The location near the north entrance was super convenient. I just because of it's name expected something else so was a bit disappointed to start."

Enjoy the easy walk up the ramp to the covered front door!

"Good location in Edgerton and convenient for meeting with relatives in the area. Check out Tally Ho Koffie restaurant downtown. Great food and coffee!"

"Beautiful house, great room. Was fun to stay in such an historic house; it was like staying in a museum! Clean, and well- kept. Wish the breakfast offerings would have been a little better, but that's not what we chose this place for. "

"Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall."

"We will definitely be staying here again and again! The best hotel I think I have ever been to! Very clean, nice layout, the views from the room are breathtaking, nice place for families, breakfast was amazing, staff is always friendly and helpful, plenty of towels in the room which was very nice, and the most comfortable pillows ever! We were very sad to leave because it just felt like home and the views throughout the hotel were just beautiful and all the different areas of seating to hang out were comfy and inviting. The hotel also serves alcohol so you can purchase them and drink in your room. My husband and I were able to enjoy a nice chilled bottle of champagne which is what we needed after a long day of traveling. We can't wait to go back and stay longer! "
