Penn's View Hotel

3.0 star property

"We were passing through Philadelphia for a day, and fell upon this gem of a hotel. Charmingly located in the old city, at close proximity and walking distance to historic landmarks, such as the franklin museum, fashion district, the liberty bell and reading terminal market. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Just keep in mind, it is an old Historic building, not your state of the art modern structure but with every amenity provided."

The Notary Hotel, Philadelphia, Autograph Collection

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (1009)
"I so wish I'd gotten the name of the lady who checked me in at the Elite desk here at the Notary on the 7th of March, but she was outstanding. Not only was she personable and professional, but I asked her for a recommendation to a local restaurant for dinner, and I had an incredible dinner at El Vez thanks to her. My check in was great, my room lovely, clean, and spacious, and the hotel's art deco vibe is just my style. I'm so glad I chose to stay at this hotel over the academic conference...

The Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (1587)
"This is a vintage building that has been updated. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is wonderful, and the hotel staff was terrific. The room was comfortable and quiet. We did have some problems. The room toilet did not flush reliably and the hotel had no wash cloths. The room and halls were updated, but the desk-console was worn and nicked. Hope further improvements are made."
