The VIP access reward (free drink coupon) was not provided at checked in, I had to go back down and request it. The room has a nice aesthetic and was very spacious. However when you look past that and it wasn't the cleanest. There was a condom wrapper open on the floor next to the bed, scratches across the floors, and a stain on the bench at the end of the bed. I tried calling down to the front desk twice then waited a few minutes and tried again and no one answered. So after going back downstairs to let them know the problem, I was told I could switch rooms and when I asked if I could see it first the front desk staff said no they could not allow me in the room unless I chose to switch. I had to pull 'a Karen" moment and asked to speak with the manager. The manager was very pleasant and agreed to walk up to the alternative room and let me see it. I decided to take the option of just re-cleaning the room I was originally assigned due to key differences between the two rooms (slightly different sizes, different types of bed, new room had connecting doors on both sides, etc ). The manager said that they would clean my room and definitely change the sheets. I left to run an errand for about an hour to an hour and a half. And when I returned room still was not clean. I'll let the manager know I would really like to be able to get ready for bed by 8:30. It took 2-2.5 hours after I checked in for them to fully address the issue and clean the room. (No more -at limit)
