"Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access"

"Overall, the hotel was very nice. They need to improve their elevators. The hotel was busy and the elevators are so slow. After waiting 15 minutes with a large number of other guests, we wound up walking up 7 floors to our room with luggage. Certainly not the greatest of accommodations."

"Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels smelled amazing! Quiet, other than some street noise. Very tall windows which were unable to be covered completely so room was not dark at night. Bed was too hard for my liking. Nobody was at front desk at all during our stay. Keys were left on front counter in an envelope. A bit of a safety issue in my opinion. No deadbolt on door of room, just a small flip lock."
