"This is a modest, small place. Not really a hotel at all - more a case of Pub with Rooms. We were shocked when we asked, "What time do you serve breakfasts?" A reasonable question? "We don't do breakfast!" was the reply. The (friendly) manager waved her hand vaguely out of the window and told us of a cafe, supposedly a short walk away. We managed to get milk and next morning, made a cuppa and set of to find the breakfast cafe. After a fifteen minute hike we found ourselves well into Penarth...
