"Difficult to rate. Initially the property felt tired and busy but it grew on us over our 4 day stay and there is a lot to like about it. Relatively good value and the food offerings aren’t overpriced and service charges are shown inclusive in menus which made it easier. I think the cheaper Forrest rooms are better and I don’t think I would want to pay for the superior sea view ones as they were closely spaced and not as good in reality as pictures. "

"Absolutely fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach and the lovely pool area. All the staff were lovely & friendly. Our room was on the 5th floor looking over the pool & beach, the views are stunning. Our room was huge, the bathroom had the best bath/shower area I’ve ever seen with views over the bay ! We tried the 3 different restaurants and all were good. All positive except one: there was a cigar smoking room next to the main bar which made the area smell of smoke, so unpleasant we couldn’t use...

"Very convenient location for a early morning flight I’d appreciate better information regarding breakfast room and that there’s food stations outside also. Please consider turning on AC in the gym, since it gets very hot and stale air otherwise! The colour of the tapwater when putting water in the bathtub, was not so nice! I enjoyed lovely staff and service, the excellent tapbeer and live music by the pool! "

"Beautiful room and breakfast was great. The problem I have is our room was just opposite the restaurant and in the morning and late afternoon, staffs were shouting to each other. Check in was slow . But lobby staff were friendly and helpful."

"Very old, dirty hotel. First they gave us room with cigarettes smell, we asked for other room. They gave very old and dirty room. Toilet yellow, shower silicon yellow and black corners, the smell in the room is bad. "

"We stayed at the Smith House for 3 nights. The location itself is away from the main attractions but very close to the airport. There is a strip mall under the hotel which has a Pizza Hut, KFC, 7Eleven and a few other shops for convenience. The room itself was very clean and good sized. The morning breakfast was decent and few options to choose from. "
