"This hotel is not a bad hotel, it's actually quite decent, or would be for an off-brand hotel. Hard to see how it is up to Hyatt Regency standards though. It's old and been worked hard, every day for a long time. So it's fraying and in need of a solid refresh to move it upmarket to merit the brand properly. "We had a wonderful time at the Alohilani. We stayed during the holidays (Christmas and New Years) and even though this was a very busy time we did not experience long lines or waits. We found the service in all areas of the hotel to be impeccable. We greatly enjoyed the hotel’s ambiance and activities. We are already planning our next trip."

"Excellent #1 hotel for a reason in Waikiki area , excellent location and views from the hotel and lot of activities happening once you get downstairs , house keeping, cafe everything was good.
