"Beautiful home, love the chalet style decoration with lots of space for everyone to be together comfortably. We were 8 adults celebrating a birthday, just wanting to chill out and swim, it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well appointed, love the espresso machine, the fridge with the bottle chilling drawer and the pantry loaded with condiemnts, etc. The beds were suer comfy and the stereo system with the turntable was a real plus. Best part is the lower deck overlooking the dock and the lake....

"Because this property uses the same system for the 2 units the owner controls the heating and cooling system. We were in the lower apartment and were freezing cold. As seniors we feel the cold and therefore would not have rented this property had we known. It may be fine for younger people but my husband found it so cold he couldn't sleep and we cut our stay short rather than endure the very uncomfortable temperatures. The other issue I had pertains to the lack of kitchen supplies. Minimal...

"This property was wonderful for our family to stay for a wedding in Port Hope. It was perfect for entertaining. Well located to shops but a very quiet place to relax. We had no children with us, but it would be great for families with kids. The property manager Amanda was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, clean cottage in a stunning lakeside setting with our extended family and children. The property is well-kept and definitely delivered on many aspects of the ‘luxury’ experience. We also appreciated the responsiveness of the property managers, who quickly addressed some of the issues we encountered. "Beautiful view of the lake that you can access in the privacy of the large backyard with a large dock. Cottage is well kept with all the luxuries of home. We had a great week and will rent this place again if available. "

"The home and its surrounding were ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy nature. The Host (Andy) and other people we met to include other "cottagers" were extremely friendly and helpful. We even had an unexpected evening delivery of firewood (free of charge) while sitting around the camp fire. On Saturday, there was a Karaoke that was enjoyed by many to include our group. "My friend and I rented this place and really enjoyed it, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and they did a lot with the space. The bedrooms were nice even though there were no photos of them and the area is quiet. The lack of photos is why I put 3 stars for accuracy since it was hard to know what the rooms would be like.
