"Beautiful home, love the chalet style decoration with lots of space for everyone to be together comfortably. We were 8 adults celebrating a birthday, just wanting to chill out and swim, it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well appointed, love the espresso machine, the fridge with the bottle chilling drawer and the pantry loaded with condiemnts, etc. The beds were suer comfy and the stereo system with the turntable was a real plus. Best part is the lower deck overlooking the dock and the lake....

"Because this property uses the same system for the 2 units the owner controls the heating and cooling system. We were in the lower apartment and were freezing cold. As seniors we feel the cold and therefore would not have rented this property had we known. It may be fine for younger people but my husband found it so cold he couldn't sleep and we cut our stay short rather than endure the very uncomfortable temperatures. "This property was wonderful for our family to stay for a wedding in Port Hope. It was perfect for entertaining. Well located to shops but a very quiet place to relax. "Our recent stay at Lori’s beautiful, homey cottage was absolutely perfect. The cottage was cozy and charming, with stunning views of the water right from the porch. The sunsets were breathtaking! The interior was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and serene, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque retreat by the water!"
