You’re minutes from Playa Carrillo and Samara beach. We didn’t realize it is about a ten minute drive outside the town of Samara though. Highly recommend Hideaway!"

"We had a great stay with our family! The views are beautiful and the house had everything we needed for our first visit to Costa Rica! It does take a bit to get to town for food/beaches, but once the weather cleared and we got used to the roads we enjoyed our stay! The house managers were quick to respond with any questions and Dani our house concierge was very helpful in setting up tours, groceries, rental car, and transportation to and from the airport! Everything was clean well kept! Seeing the monkeys from our porch on the last two days was the hi-light of the trip!"

"My family of 4 (me, husband & two teen boys ages 15 & 13) had a wonderful & relaxing stay at Olas Verdes. It was everything we wanted. It’s not too big, so it’s not crowded. There were times we questioned if we were the only ones staying there. The food was amazing with homemade breads, etc. & breakfast is included. We left the hotel a few times to eat in-town, but felt the food at Olas Verdes was the best. The staff was very warm, friendly & attentive, but not overbearing. Anything we needed was addressed within 5 minutes. Boogie boards & bikes are included & there are surf lessons on-site for a fee. The beach was a scenic 5-minute walk from the hotel. We had the “2 bedroom apartment”, which was really 2 one-bedroom apartments with one on top of the other. Each one had a small kitchen & one had a full fridge. The entrances were separate. It worked great for us given we have teenagers, but something to consider if you have smaller children. It felt like an airbnb w the amenities of a hotel. AC is only in the main bedrooms, not in the living rooms. That wasn’t a problem for us. Laundry service was included as well, which was a huge plus. When we return to Nosara in the future, we will absolutely stay here again."

"Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodations were great and the staff is excellent. While everyone there was very helpful, nice, and great I want to recognize some that went above and beyond for us. Yudith is AMAZING!! I cannot say enough great things about her. Eden, Danny & Kendal were outstanding as well. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of staff. They are extremely hard working, smiling all the time, very kind and helpful. They are a huge reason our stay was so wonderful."

"Really enjoyed this tree house. Ben was a great host! He was very responsive to our questions and had great tips for what to do in the area. The actual house comfortably slept the four of us and had ample room for us to lounge and enjoy the weather. I had a great time traveling in Costa Rica, and this location was my favorite!"

"Beautiful property. The breakfast was good and plenty, only one plate per person, if you want anything extra you will be charged. I had the best massage at the spa. Beautiful views and had the opportunity to see many wild animals. "

"This is the best place to stay in this area of Nosara! Beautiful grounds, peaceful atmosphere and aesthetic, many breakfast options included with the stay. Included yoga classes led by experienced and excellent teachers, cruiser bikes were fun to ride, and the longer pool hours are much appreciated. We loved our stay and plan to be back. Would love if in-room coffee was replenished daily with housekeeping services. "
