"After missing the last train home at Euston I was in need of a room at short notice. The Wesley seemed to offer a reasonable standard of room for a reasonable price, which was exactly what I got. The room was small and a little bit cold when I arrived at 9.30pm. However, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked both new and clean. There was a small TV, kettle, ironing board and hairdryer. I slept pretty well and departed early the next morning. Overall, a perfectly adequate hotel but...

"Its a decent hotel at quite center of london. For a decent price. Much better than staying at the airBnB or hostels. Its close to chancery lane tube station and has plenty restaurants nearby. The breakfast is okayish but the hosts are very hospitable. "

"Good location base. Original room a bit of a small layout but we were luckily offered another choice of room available which we took. Staff friendly and very helpful. Communal areas need refurbishing as heavy use. Busy area so if on lower levels can hear outside but have to expect this in a city. Lots of places to eat nearby. "

"A very newly renovated boutique hotel above a pub in a quiet residential part of islington. I stayed on the upper floor for a week in room 9 which was spacious, clean and it had all the comforts of home . Very modern and clean bathroom with an large shower - the large closet Included an ironing board and iron which I used before my meetings. The newest espresso machine was nice for morning coffee as was the large smart tv for keeping up on global news. The pub closes early at 11 pm...

"The room was nice and cosy, with lovely fireplace character. The sheets and towels were crispy clean and ironed. The private bathroom was great with warm tile floor as well. My remarks - one of the steps leading to the bathroom had a torn off carpet, so it was sliding. There was a little bit of dust here and there. Other than these, my stay at The Stag was very enjoyable. "
