"Lovely Stay from start to finish. Couldn’t get a better location. Room was fantastic - bed super comfortable- bathroom was gorgeous - shower piping hot. Hotel Bar was awesome - Christmas Decor beautiful throughout. If we ever go back to Edinburgh I will be staying at The Scotsman and would recommend it to anyone. "

"It was closed your Pic was from a year ago it is covered in scaffolding and not open for 6 months I paid in advance and had to pay again at a sister Hotel (Raddisson) who demanded £2900. when I had pd over £3400 to Expedia. "We were on the first floor at the front. Extremely noisy especially late at night, no fault of the hotel and they did let one room in our booking of 3 rooms swop to a quieter one. Location is great for Old Town area and around 15 minutes from station."

"Perfect location right on the Royal Mile, everything we wanted to sew was within walking distance. Lovely check-in staff, could not have been more helpful. Clothes washing machine broken so staff organised a laundry pick-up and drop-off for us for free. Apartment was basically clean, but floors were dirty (needed a vacuum or good sweep). 1 of the 3 TVs didn't work at all, 1 didnt work properly (coax cable bent so signal dropped in and out constantly), but the other (in the bedroom) worked...
