"We had a really enjoyable stay! The attention to detail throughout the hotel and the friendly staff made the experience even better. The spa was lovely, though a bit small, so it can get busy quickly. We visited early in the mornings and late at night when it was quieter. The breakfast buffet was a nice spread, for children there was pancake machine available. The bar too is reasonably priced. Had booked for 2 nights stay extended it by another day. Edinburgh Zoo is next door Taxi / Uber / Bolt easy access."

"THE best location possible. Steps to the castle and everything you want. Hotel is super clean. You’re directly across from St Giles church and not many cars up here at hotel because street is made for walking around. Great beds and quality soap in showers. Bedding is great, blankets great and mattresses were the best we’ve had on our 3 country trip. Staff walked us to our rooms and carried our luggage. "Great property, great location. Great staff. Beautiful high ceilings. Very accommodating. The only criticism I have is that the people working the spa seemed clueless and uptight. The guy I was talking to about treatments appeared like he had never had a massage in his life. And as I was trying to get more information about treatments and providers everyone seemed to get more nervous and uptight. Very strange. Other than that had a great hotel experience."
