"Wonderful hakone onsen experience! My only complaint would be that some areas seemed to need a little updating. But other than that the rooms were very spacious and there were a lot of amenities included in the cost of the room."

"This Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) was an incredible experience. Some of the best service I’ve ever encountered and the private onsen was a luxurious experience. The food was excellent with a dozen dishes or more at each meal although it’s worth noting that these are traditional Japanese meals so very fish and pickle forward and lots of food that some Americans and westernersmight not be used to. One of the most luxurious experiences I’ve ever had. "

"We had the most incredible stay here while visiting Hakone. The location is ideal: a 2 min walk from the main train station and right on the river. Waking up to the sound/view of the river is just magical. The team working here is incredibly nice, hospitable and accommodating. We did the half board and the food was delicious and varied. "Our stay was great, it was a beautiful and quiet place. The Onsen itself was perfect. I think the only downside was the food was just ok. We were expecting more food options in the area, but when we realized there wasn’t anything close by, we ate at the hotel, and the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.
