"My husband and enjoyed our absolutely perfect stay here. The room decor was warm and inviting. The quality and amenities were top-notch. Absolutely the best rest we had during our 14 day trip in Japan. The included breakfast buffet was pleasing ro the eye and tasty. The staff kept the food stocked and the area clean. The hotel was close to train and bus transportation. Do not hesitate to book a room here; you will not be disappointed. We look forward to staying here again on our next vacation in Kyoto! "

"Appreciated the daily water bottles and refrigerator, and pajamas. Nice warm shower and bath, and relatively roomy to other places. Next door to all conveniences. Couple blocks from train station. Easily rolled our luggage to hotel. Kindly held our luggage when we came early, so we could easily explore Kyoto."

"Hotel was located within the shopping street and needed walking from nearby stations. Also within walking distance to the pontocho alley. for sightseeing, you would need to walk to the crowded bus stop. Room was considered spacious by normal Japanese standards but it was also more expensive during the Sakura season. There is a special bathtub with sit down area for shower. Overall, convenient but on the pricey side for 4 star hotel. There is also an additional accommodation tax. "

"This hotel is strategically located within a 15 walk from Kyoto Metro station. There are many fantastic restaurants around the area, including shrines and temples that you can visit. Breakfast is served in the hotel and that gives you opportunity to load up on energy before you go out to visit all the fantastic places in Kyoto. In addition, if you sign up for the Kyoto Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour of Kyoto and the bus stops right in front of this hotel for pick-up and drop-off. There is a regular shuttle bus operated by the hotel that goes to and from Kyoto Metro station as well."
