"This hotel is actually far from Kyoto, so be prepared for a very long ride from either the train station or airport. The food was excellent and the room was very basic. Comfortable, but no frills. For the price I was expecting something a little nicer. If you want an authentic Japanese experience, this place is perfect."

"Dont have a baseline for traditional Japanese bnb stay, the sleeping on a Yukata was very unique. Excellent full breakfast. Room was cozy with very good a/c. The feel was relaxing. Do not expect modern amenities, could use a makeover. Very high in the mountain. Would return."
