"Room pleasant, well appointed and clean but breakfast wasn’t available (the info said it would be if booked). Bar downstairs didn’t serve food so l went across the road to the Premier Inn for both dinner and breakfast. Close to the ferry terminal which is what l needed. "

"Hotel has been refurbished in parts. Our room was small but the bed was so comfortable. Small things need to still be addressed- toilet seat not fixed firmly, flickering light in bathroom not fixed. Staff didn’t seem to be focused on customer care as one fellow was on his phone the whole time when in reception. Service at bar was very disappointing. Outside entry was dangerous in wet weather. "

"The room was good overall, very spacious with all the amenities you can expect. And for the price I paid it is more than what I expected. Plus, breakfast (buffet) was very good. Only downside is that the building is old so things may break. During my stay my bathroom light kept breaking. The hallway downstairs smell a bit. However, those are small enough that they didn't affect my experience. "
