"As an outdoor lover, I really enjoyed staying in this property that's at the end of a dirt road, wooded, and quiet. The house was clean, and as a foody, I must say, this was the best-stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rent. We wanted for nothing. I would have liked to know the jaccuzzi would need 3 days to heat up fully, and central heating would be great (since in winter the house is cold and room heaters or the gas fireplace heat the house), but the firepit and ameneties were fantastic. ...

"This was our second time staying here and we love it for the peace and tranquility of the location, the well furnished space and roominess and most of all the happy decor! It is located close to Coupeville for fun shopping jaunts to the stores and restaurants but we make most of our meals in the kitchen. No matter what the weather, the covered porch overlooking Penn Cove is a great hangout spot for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while watching the posse of curious harbor seals...

"We visited Orcas Island for a family event and stayed at Lori's home. It was peaceful, comfortable, well supplied and met us with a glorious view to the west! We enjoyed fires in the fireplace and evening dips in the hot tub under the stars. Beds and linens were great quality and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with just the right amount of good quality cookware, etc. We would stay again. Thanks Lori!"

"We recently stayed at this house on Lopez Island and, while it has a beautiful view and the potential to be charming, it’s important to know what to expect. The house had an eerie, somewhat neglected feel to it. There were bugs inside, a noticeable odor, and it didn’t seem ready for guests—very bare with no Wi-Fi.
