"Happy to finally get to the beach!We initially rented this place for my husband's birthday and to recover from a Stem Cell transplant for his Lymphoma. Unfortunately, all did not go as planned and he went home to the Lord much earlier than expected. It was a great place for the family to heal. Beautiful area and wonderful restaurants.Please go. "We visited Orcas Island for a family event and stayed at Lori's home. It was peaceful, comfortable, well supplied and met us with a glorious view to the west! We enjoyed fires in the fireplace and evening dips in the hot tub under the stars. Beds and linens were great quality and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with just the right amount of good quality cookware, etc. We would stay again. Thanks Lori!"

"We skipped out on Thanksgiving this year with a getaway to Orcas Island. The Ocean View House on East Sound was a lovely spot - close to town, close to Moran State Park, views of the water, quiet. It offered everything we needed - comfortable and cozy hang/living area, comfortable beds, big kitchen for cooking and the outdoor covered porch with fire table and outdoor TV with views of the water was a total bonus. "What a wonderful experience! This location was perfect for our family including our dog, and the property manager was so helpful. We initially had to move our date due to unforseen circumstances, and the owner was so kind and helpful to just move it to another date to accommodate our needs.The view was stunning, the hot tub was lovely, and the owner again worked with us when our dog scratched the door while we were off to dinner. Thank you for helping us enjoy our weekend and we will be back...
