"It was quiet and beautiful. The cabin is definitely rustic, although has all the amenities you want, (wifi, dishwasher, etc.) There is a gorgeous nature preserve close by, and I took walks and did an enormous jigsaw puzzle while feeling like I was in a treehouse. "

"Quiet and cozy stay for the weekend. Well stocked kitchen and extras like games and books. Hot tub was great after a day outside. Felt private and comfortable. "

"Very cozy retreat with comfy beds and quiet to sleep to. We didn't cook, but did notice that there were ample supplies in the kitchen. The best part was the fireplace. We sat on the couch and stoked the fire all evening. It was so relaxing. Our host was very attentive and gave very clear directions."

"We stayed for a week to enjoy the Washington mountains. The cabin was perfect for us with everything we needed. The washer and dryer made it so we didn’t have to pack a ton of clothes, so we had more room in our bags for hiking gear. It was a short drive to Mount baker, the ski resort and anything we needed. The owners recommended the market (within walking distance) that didn’t disappoint. All fresh and local food and supplies. We’d give it 10 stars of possible."

"The property was lovely, and access to the beach from the backyard... priceless. Loved the ability to bring our pup along for the weekend. Great views and beautiful sunsets. A few things could use a little TLC, and the listing updated to reflect. Also a note that the septic system has a bit of an offputting sulfur smell, but totally appreciated the hot/cold water filter provided. "

"The property was in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Im not used to neighbors as close as they were but it was a quiet neighborhood which we tried to maintain also. The house was well appointed with most everything you'd need to prepare a meal, just be sure to purchase cooking spray and plastic wrap or tin foil if they are going to be needed. And definitely don't attempt the driveway from a right hand turn, being there I can see why those instructions are given. "

"This place has everything. It's clean, with room to navigate room to room. The personal touches are amazing. They even had a little jar of mini marshmallows for the hot chocolate! Don't miss the trails behind the house and do try the sauna. Instructions in the "green book" are very helpful for setting up sauna, TV, temperature control and the fireplace. "

"[oct24] This place looks just like the pictures. Let's talk about the grounds-GORGEOUS! Like a visitor center it's so beautiful. We didn't get to use the firepit (too wet/cold) and I was so bummed. We bought Jakes wood to burn in the stove instead. Had everything we needed (except a cooler-we left a new one behind for future guests!) for making meals, doing laundry and seating outside for chilling-quite literally but I love being outdoors! "Cabin had beautiful views and great location for getting to lovely drives and nice trails to explore. House set up nicely for two couples with private and shared space. Kitchen needed better pans and hot tub was of no use. Needs some shelter."

"We loved the cabin with all its beautiful interior updates. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The bathroom and shower were exceptional. The kitchen has almost everything we needed. A cozy and special place to just hang or use as a base to head up to Mt. Baker. "

"This property was amazing. It was clean, updated, and in a beautiful location where you can see the ocean through the trees. The hosts provided a lot of great information about the island. We saw some deer grazing one morning which was awesome. We were vacationing in the PNW for 2 weeks and we both said we wished we had spent more of our vacation on Orcas in this great place. Thank you!"

"Everything I wanted and more. Exactly 45 minutes to Artist Point, jacuzzi perfect to relax after a 9.5mi hike. Next time hope to bring my wife when she can take off work. Highly recommended!"

"The cabin is a wonderful combination of modern conveniences and charming log cabin. We were there in November so I can't rate the lake for swimming, but the lake view is beautiful. We were very happy there, and hope to return some day!"

"Our VRBO rental on Lopez Island was a very relaxing place. It was easy to find, The property was in a beautiful secluded spot on the island. Most evenings we drove / hiked to Shark Reef Sanctuary to watch the sunset. 50 years ago I first visited the San Juan Islands, and I hoped someday I would return. With this trip, I got to fulfill my longtime wish. All in all a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Bill Griffith Pittsburgh, PA"
