"Beautiful property and the concierge was extremely helpful! The only thing I’ll say is be prepared to drive. Nothing is really walkable but great stay regardless. "

"This lovely villa was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well outfitted. Spacious living area and delightful porches. Felt very safe and secure. Would have appreciated better water pressure in the shower, but I also understand we were visiting a country that is working hard to control water usage. We would go back to this property any chance we had! "

"We had a wonderful stay in Playa Langosta thanks to this gem of a condo. The location is close enough to Tamarindo to walk, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise of the “downtown” area. The condo was amazingly clean and has all the ameninites. The pool is great and the views from the porch were spectacular. Also there is a small turns essentially across the street which was very convenient for picking up things as needed and did not require a car or golf cart. We will be back! "

"We had an amazing stay at Pacifico and loved this unit. It was very clean and modern. The location next to the pool was so nice. Check in was a breeze and the property manager was very responsive and professional. The property manager helped us arrange a golf cart and it was a wonderful way to get around town. We love the amenities onsite as well as the beach club and proximity to restaurants and groceries. I loved the decor especially the fun wallpaper!"

"My husband and I took our college-aged son and his girlfriend on vacation for Spring Break. This place was perfect as we had beautiful, quiet Playa Langosta right in front and fun, more active Tamarindo within walking distance. The unit is clean and convenient. Melissa was very helpful and responsive if we had any questions during our stay. I highly recommend!"

"Very impressed with the condo. It’s in a gated community that is staffed 24 hours. Can’t beat the view of being right on the beach. Water wasn’t very blue or clear but it was very warm and we loved it. "

"Stayed 2 wks in this lovely well-kept condo, with great bed, and expansive view. Loved the pool and used it daily. The pool bathroom could provide consistent toilet paper. The condo was as advertised and very comfortable with working air conditioning which we used often (it was 32 and 33 degrees daily!). The tv had great cable for quiet evenings at home after walking on the beach for beautiful sunsets and happy hour drinks and dinner. The furniture was comfortable and we settled in easily,...

Had a few very minor hiccups and they responded immediately and helped us.If you're looking to stay in this part of CR, I would definitely recommend this condo building, location and management group."

"This was our family’s first international trip. The condo was perfect for us. Our kids, 14, 12, and 10, had a blast in the pool and ocean. The boogie boards were so fun to have and provided for hours of entertainment. The location was spectacular. We loved the beach - it was so quiet and peaceful and you can’t beat the view. There were several restaurants around for us to visit, but we also enjoyed the kitchen in the condo for most of our breakfasts and lunches. I am so glad we chose this condo...

"This apartment and property are well cared for, secure and a short walk down a road to the beach. The apartment has gorgeous views in the main area and primary bed room. There is a river crossing from this section of the beach as well as it is a little far from the main section of town which is great if you want a quieter place to stay but does require a vehicle or quite a walk to get to the restaurants and shopping."

"This is a clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped villa within a safe and hospitable resort. The shaded balcony area is lovely and the plunge pool was a welcome oasis on our 95F degree days.If you use the resort transportation system it’s easy to get to the beach or the hotel pool where sunsets are spectacular."

"Pacifico is an absolutely gorgous property, the area how ever is not as impresive unless you like dry desert like conditions outside of the wet season, and a beach that is meh. I must say that the friendliness of the people almost makes up for it. Its a ways to travel out to see tropical rainforests and white sand beaches but tours are available."

"We've stayed here a few times and feel it's good value for the price. Tonight there were some ants crawling around on the floor, but heh, we're in Costa Rica so not too surprised. The pool was warm and the bed was comfy."

"Was a fantastic stay in Tamarindo! The staff were amazing, the facility was great and we would not hesitate to go back! The shuttle to town was amazing for pickup and drop off. A bit far of a walk but it wasn't an issue. The pool and bar were brilliant too. No issues with bugs like some other reviews said either. Would recommend!"

"This resort was a dream! From the min we got the staff was warm and welcoming and took care of us in every way imaginable. We had to wait for our room due to flying in so early and they were more than happy to check us in and hold our belongings until our room was available and we were able to enjoy the amenities they had to offer. We also booked all our adventures with the hotel and they made it so easy to book and attend. 10/10 recommend this hotel"

Occidental Papagayo - Adults Only - All inclusive

"My wife and I came from the US for our honeymoon for 7 days and we loved our stay! To be honest, we were worried after reading some of the reviews, but the staff was helpful and prompt, the property was clean, the pools were nice, and the beach was great! They have an awesome on-site booth to purchase excursions which we did multiple of! The only downsides we can only think of were the showers could use some updating! The food is decent; Nothing to write home about but not bad. There is quite a bit of walking, as the property is large, but truly nothing to complain about unless you are elderly or have some health issues. The animals on the property keep to themselves and are so cute! Overall, I’d say if you’re looking for a cheap, fun, good, place to stay and go out and see Costa Rica, this is your spot! If you’re looking for exquisite food, super nice rooms, and premium liquor, I’d go somewhere else:)"
