"We are long-time summer residents who needed alternative housing. We are so glad that we were able to rent this home. You walk in the door, and just wow. The view is 180 degrees of mountains, lake, and clouds. You can just enjoy the view all day. Everything was well stocked and comfortable. Beds were great. "Great, comfortable little cottage. The owner has thought to supply just about everything you could need. It was clean and fresh. There was an area wide power outage when we arrived due to a big storm. The owner had taken the time to hook up a generator so we had a light and power to the refrigerator. Power was back on in a couple of hours. We would absolutely stay there again. Our dog absolutely loved the front deck overlooking a view of the lake through the trees."

"We had a great time at the house. It had everything we needed and an added benefit of being one floor with no steps for those with mobility issues (we had someone in a wheel chair and it was perfect). It was so pretty to be on the lake and wake up to ice fishers getting their day started. It was an easy drive to Middlebury Snowbowl and Breadloaf. And a quick 20 minuets to campus. We'll have to keep this on our list for future travels to the Middlebury and Lake Champlain area. "

"Arrived around 5 on Saturday. Great location. Once I figured out how to open key holder, we moved in. We enjoyed our cabin, found the information folders helpful. We had a nice fire and enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions for improvement. The light in the main room was very bright. A dimmer light switch would have been appreciated. Would like to have had a reading light on both sides of the bed."

The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. "
