She was very hospitable and gave us information/recommendations around the area. The mall across the bridge has many cute stores and food to check out. The whole area is very quiet and peaceful. "My partner and I, from Canada, stayed for one night in November. We loved our large room, with a nice stone bathtub, and a beautiful view of the mountains & the leaves starting to change. We got the 1/2 board with kobe beef, and thought the food and service were excellent. The private bath was lovely, and so was the outdoor onsen. The onsen is open all night, which is good because I feel like this ryokan is a family-focused hotel (when we were at breakfast we were the only table without a baby)....

"I absolutely loved this ryokan. The pictures online do not do it justice; the property is even better in person. The staff were very welcoming. The meals were amazing. The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. My only recommendation is that the shuttle from the train station should have a sign with the name of the property. "
