"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ms Izumi provided detailed instructions during the check-in procedure. The onsen facilities were excellent - exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing surroundings. The kaiseki dinner on the 1st night and the Kobe beef on the 2nd night were excellent. We would definitely return to stay."

"Arima Onsen Motoyu Kosenkaku is known as “La Fontine / The Lodge Arima Resort” in English. The property is located in the outskirts of the main village of Arima and is about 25 minutes on foot up a hill. Travellers with mobility issues may find this property difficult to access unless prior transport is arranged with hotel reception staff. We stayed overnight in a standard Japanese-style room. "The views were amazing. A perfect position to watch the sunset and sunrise over Osaka and Mino'o forest. The hospitality of the staff was so kind in a way I've never experienced before, they felt very heartwarming and welcoming. I will definitely cherish the memory for the rest of my life and recommend this place to friends and family."

"This is the traditional Japanese onsen hotel The breakfast was great Many Japanese style food along breads, pasta , sausage The onsen is awesome Staff speaks English They have shuttle pick up from jr station and they even drove us to bus station when we requested it "

"Was a nice area to visit. Wish I had studied more of area. Would have stayed 2 nights instead of 1 had I known better. Very interesting area and hot springs hard to find as I speak nor read Japanese. But did enjoy the experience."

"Great location - barely 2 blocks away from the train station. The host, Sugita, that greeted us was fluent in English! She was very hospitable and gave us information/recommendations around the area. The mall across the bridge has many cute stores and food to check out. The whole area is very quiet and peaceful. We got a room with a private onsen, facing the water - beautiful view. Strongly recommend!"

"Staff explained well the dining experience, what to expect and how to eat and the food served. Onsen was great. Kobe to this place was only 1 bus ride and direct. Then just walk leisure 3mins to the hotel. "

"I absolutely loved this ryokan. The pictures online do not do it justice; the property is even better in person. The staff were very welcoming. The meals were amazing. The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. My only recommendation is that the shuttle from the train station should have a sign with the name of the property. "

"Conveniently located near Osaka station. Shopping plentiful all around. Staff is helpful and understands English so communication is not a problem. Room was clean and they have a laundry room available onsite for you to use. "
