Take the shuttle bus and try not to walk up the really steep hill to the hotel. It is definitely some cardio exercise. But, if you take the shuttle bus, which is very convenient, you will save yourself some harsh exercise. "

"We"ve been visiting Arima-onsen and Hanamusubi for several times already and this town and ryokan is always special to us. We always feel home at this ryokan by the friendly, polite and professional staff. Our favorite room with our own private onsen is just amazing and has all the amenities we need for our short stays. "Nice and quaint ryokan with free shuttle service. The tourist information centre can help to contact them for you when you arrive. We booked the only room with an outdoor onsen and bathroom as we were travelling with a toddler. All other rooms don’t have any private toilets. Dinner was amazing and served at sister ryokan 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was served downstairs. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. Very friendly and welcoming ambiance.
