"Well run, clean hostel in a very convenient position. Just a short walk from Ueno Railway station. If you want a safe, secure bed for the night this is it. Literally just a mattress with 4 walls around it. Good light and charging station."

"Clean, comfortable and close to shopping district. Rooms are small but come with an excellent private bath. I stayed here 15 years ago and remember liking it more than the fancy $300 a night hotel room paid for by my employer for work nights. Now, if you need space or are traveling with children I probably wouldn't book but it is easily the best value for a comfortable room in all of Japan in my opinion. "

"I think the biggest plus for TenTen Guesthouse is the staff. They have assembled a group of good people. They attend to the needs of the guests very well. The set meals they serve during weeknights is also another good thing especially if you don't have specific dinner plans. In terms of location, it's very near Senso-ji and good dining options that are not that crowded. It's 10-15 minutes from the Tokyo Metro Line and the Toei Line.
