Williamsburg Lodge, Autograph Collection
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1003)
"We had an overall great stay. We have stayed at the lodge several times and its always excellent. I would like to point out our room 4313 was very loud. The wood floors creaked very loudly; worst was the guest above us. I could tell they weren't doing anything out of the ordinary, but we could hear every step every text message. I'm not sure how you fix this, but I could never stay under another room again on our next stay. "

Budget Inn
2.0 star property

"Not at all handicap accessible. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke and bed linens had burn holes. Room under construction and not finished. Lights missing. Hotel staff unavailable at night. They wanted to charge a dollar for a second room key. Two sets of towels for 4 people. No breakfast offered. No parking spaces available in the immediate area, as there were piles of construction materials in several parking spots. Hotel employee (manager) became agitated and called police when my wife grazed...

Red Roof Inn & Suites Newport News
2.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (1011)
"One of the best Red Roofs I've stayed at in a while. Not much in the area for food/shopping/entertainment etc, however it's only a short easy drive to find. Staff was very kind. Rooms were updated and clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and noisy but there's really no bed as comfortable as your own. The hotel was very clean and smelled clean as well. We will definitely stay here again. "
