While our stay was enjoyable; there are some things about the property that could really use updates. The faucet and shower handles are old and are missing parts. The furnishings need to be changed to something(seating) a bit more comfortable and quaint going along with the colonial style, updated lighting, and window treatments. When you think of the word "resort" it gives the impression of special treatment; the facility does not give that vibe at all. The front desk was quite helpful and courteous. The property itself was well maintained. The property staff was nice, front desk was just ok. The room needed some cleaning, there was a booger on the wall and I have pics to proved it, carpet was not clean and a stoppage in the bathroom sink. I did not report any of this to the front desk. Sunday morning there was very little hot water, the grounds keeper was aware as he knocked on the door to ask about it.

I didn't like that you get no in room service at all, hot water take 5 minutes to get upstairs to the faucets, filter in the furnace was caked with dust ad.nd dirt, the toilet seat was broke . When I arrived they tried to give me a room that was not the villa i paid for that was supposed to have a jacuzzi and a fireplace. My first experience time i arrived was terrible.

This was our second time staying here and we came back because we loved it so much. However, we got sucked into what was supposed to be an hour presentation about a time share that turned into 4 hours. We had one day of vacation here and it was ruined because of this. Don’t fall for it!
