"I gave only four stars due to two reasons. The bathroom electrical outlet didn’t work, so I had to use a plug in the bedroom area. Just a bit inconvenient when trying to dry your hair. The other reason is that the room didn’t have a USB port in the room. I only brought cables for my phone, tablet, and watch. I don’t think I have stayed anywhere in the last few years that didn’t provide USB ports for charging electronics. JS"

"The room I was in didn't have no trash can in it. Other than that the room is was good condition "

"The greatest part of the hotel was the staff! All were amazing! However, the hotel is definitely showing signs of neglect. There were stains all over the elevators, including smear stains of only god knows what. They had hand sanitizer stations at every elevator but none of them worked. The exterior of the hotel was dirty and desperately needs to be power washed. I guess I can’t be too surprised, we were in Newport News. "

"This hotel room was very rundown and dirty. The furniture was broken, sink and toilet had hairs in them. The microwave was filthy. The door didn’t completely close you could see daylight around the edges. The sheets were thread barren and the comforter had cigarette burns. We had to ask for toilet paper almost none at check in. The shower had soap scum and was simply dirty. The floors need to be vacuumed. This room left a lot to be desired."
