"We loved the hotel. The lady at the front desk let us check in early and recommended a couple of restaurants for lunch. The room was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyrd the fireplace and jetted tub. Everything was very clean. For breakfast they offered omelettes and waffles made to order along with the typical cereal, yougurt, muffins and croissants. We will definitely return when in the area. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. "

"It is a lovely area and the two towns of Nevada city and grass Valley are so fun to visit. The three people that we met at the check-in desk were so kind and full of great idea ideas of where to eat in the area and how to get to the evening Christmas market. This is definitely a dog lovers hotel. Unfortunately, our room although spacious reeked of dog smells."

"Had a great stay! Customer service was exceptional as was the comfort of the room and bed. The restaurant was delicious and so was the surprise of banana muffins in the morning. Parking was a nightmare on a holiday Friday night and there were a few minor things overlooked by housekeeping but nothing too major to deter from the overall pleasurable experience. "
