"I really liked this place, room was great, good parking, staff were excellent and my meal in the evening was really good with a nice wine list. However what let it down was the final hurdle, the breakfast. I ordered the full english but unfortunately my sausage was cold, bacon way over cooked (probably been cooked a while earlier) and the black pudding was just terrible. This was a disappointing end to what was a great stay. I will definately be back again and would encourage others to stay...

"The room i stayed in was great comfortable bed fridge,microwave, toaster kettle you don't get that at any hotel. The fresh home baked bread you get on arrival is fantastic. "Great pub & restaurant. All staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Food is excellent & well priced. Rooms are clean & have plenty of tea/coffee, not like some hotels who only leave 2 tea bags with no variety! Great breakfast menu too! I would highly recommend to friends!!!"

"From the outside this is a beautiful historic Manor House but in the room we had it didn’t feel any different to anywhere else. The grounds are lovely. The bed was uncomfortable and made for a poor 1st nights sleep. The staff are good and they did look to see if they could make our stay more comfortable. For breakfast we both had Eggs Royale which was really nice but not worth the £15pp price tag. Going back to the room what it really needed was black out curtains as the light really shone...
