"We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. We hope to be able to visit again"

"I cannot recommend this place enough. Clean, spacious, well stocked and quiet...you cant ask for much more. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. Not too far from Cooperstown but far enough that you didnt have to deal with the crowds. If you're coming for All-Stars or Dreams Park, or just to visit the HOF, this would be a great place to stay. And the title of the review is exactly what my son said when we brought him there from the baseball tournament, I guess...

Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. "Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience."

"A guys trip to Cooperstown was topped off with a wonderful experience relaxing in this beautiful house. Lots of beds and space to spread out for our group of 6. Beautiful scenery off the back porch. Quiet. But the best part of it all was the hospitality from our hosts. They made sure we had all we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable.
