The grounds are beautiful and the beach is one of the best on Bloody Bay. They have a great staff that try and do anything they can to make your vacation special."

We paid extra for a beach front room and they gave us a room where we could not even see the beach and the same for the couple we were with. They did give us a room where we could see part of the beach which we were happy with after we complained and the same with the couple that was with us. When you have to complain the first day is no way to start a vacation!"

"First time staying here. We liked the property, nice lush gardens, nice layout to the hotel/bar/restaurant. The bar was quiet, no one but us there. The bartender made us some of the best drinks we’ve had anywhere in Negril. We enjoyed the sunset from the bar before going to dinner. We only stayed 1 night as we were celebrating a birthday, we have a home in the country and wanted to be at the beach. My complaints - no hot water! A trickle of water in both the faucet and shower. "It is quiet, safe and nicely situated to the beach. The food and restaurant is subpar. From the time the you place your order for food to the time you receive it, it is about an hour. The flavor and presentation of the food is very subpar. For all things considered, Sandy Haven is a great location, reasonably priced and safe. Rooms are clean, hot water for the showers and free towels for the beach. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating."
