"I just had a seven night stay at Country Country and cannot speak highly enough about it. Yes, it is not five star and is pretty basic but it makes up for that with the friendliness of the staff and the location which is right on the beautiful beach. My room (517) comfortable and clean. The breakfast is adequate and you can walk along the beach to other restaurants in the evening. I would recommend Lily’s Kitchen which serves good food and plays great reggae music. "It is quiet, safe and nicely situated to the beach. The food and restaurant is subpar. From the time the you place your order for food to the time you receive it, it is about an hour. The flavor and presentation of the food is very subpar. For all things considered, Sandy Haven is a great location, reasonably priced and safe. Rooms are clean, hot water for the showers and free towels for the beach. Staff is also very friendly and accommodating."

"You arrive at Drifters as a guest and leave as FAMILY!! Ive stayed at numerous hotels in negril, all very nice. However, Drifters is simply Magical! I booked originally for 5 night stay but the connections and experience I had there made me extend my stay 2 more nights!!! I WILL be back! So much so, that Drifters will be tired to see my face. "First time staying here. We liked the property, nice lush gardens, nice layout to the hotel/bar/restaurant. The bar was quiet, no one but us there. The bartender made us some of the best drinks we’ve had anywhere in Negril. We enjoyed the sunset from the bar before going to dinner. We only stayed 1 night as we were celebrating a birthday, we have a home in the country and wanted to be at the beach. My complaints - no hot water! A trickle of water in both the faucet and shower. "I should get a credit back for the SHACK I was put in? Unbelievably bad. Worst accommodations anyone could ever have?….. And the rumor is the place has been sold so all the employees are uncertain of their future employment. "The property is conveniently located about mid point along the 7 mile beach. The staff is friendly and courteous. My room was clean and well kept.
