"The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The deck was our favorite place and we spent many hours there, taking in the beautiful view and being amazed by the quietness. If you want to get away from the noise and close quarters of in-town living, this is a perfect place to go."

"We loved our stay at the cute little farmhouse!! This is our 2nd trip to stay there and it was just as pleasant and peaceful. The owners were amazing. We came in late at night and they put a beacon out by the street so it was easy to notice. Sent text messages with anything the were doing on the farm to give us a heads up. "The inside of the Starlight was fantastic. The place was very clean and had new appliances. It was helpful to have a washer and dryer. The owner had great communication throughout the stay which I appreciated. My only suggestion would be to keep the landscaping cleaned up and the yard mowed. Which to be fair as soon as I asked they came and mowed so my dogs could enjoy the fenced backyard that was advertised. We would Definitely stay there again!...

"Great location. There were a few issues with the shower not draining properly the first night, but it cleared up. There wasn’t a hair dryer even though it was listed. Jamie said that someone took it a couple of days before. A hot tub was listed, but we didn’t see it. The house was clean, the location was great. All in all a good place to rent for fishing trips to the San Juan river. The bedrooms are all upstairs, so not good for folks with medical issues."

"We were thrilled at the layout of the place which was spacious and very clean. There were a few domestic items that we felt should have been easily found and available, but since we shop at walmart for fun, it was not a problem for us to purchase. The beds were on the hard side. The drive to durango was surprisingly easy and quick! The mountain is quiet and we never saw another car on the road! We would return to this wonderful home in the future!"

"My grown "children" and I stayed here in late October. This home is stunning with ample windows and lots of wood, which is perfect for the setting. There is a forest in the front yard and a river in the back. Master bath has a jetted tub and windows which reveal the star-filled night skies. There's a hot tub in the back yard and a firepit by the river. Kitchen has gorgeous appliances. We will definitely be back! (The only thing missing was toilet paper.)"

"First thing people need to understand, this is a working farm and is not in town so expect to hear animals when outside. We had a great 2 day stay at this property. My wife got to milk a cow and feed 2 baby calves. The hosts are extremely nice people. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is your place."
